The retreat is separated in three levels, with the upper level containing a building with four single rooms, a middle one with the common area, pool, and two rooms, and the lower floor, where you will find a traditional Indonesian joglo with two rooms.

The retreat features eight rooms situated around a large outdoor swimming pool in the middle of a stunning Balinese garden close to the river. Not worth the money we paid for it and I would not recommend.During this retreat, you will be staying at Pelan Pelan Bali. Disappointed we were not picked up on time, not told our pick up location had changed and that our booze cruise was shorter than what we thought. We ended up leaving our stop at 8:30 and were dropped back off at Toast. At 7:45 we were told we had to leave the last stop in 30 minutes to get back. They took us out near the barrier reef and then took us to a few bars where we chose to stop. The captain and the other young man working on the boat were friendly and competent with the boat. Fortunately where we were staying was fairly close so we were able to get to Toast and get on the boat between 5:15 and 5:30. At 4:47 I received a call that they were there and where were we? The caller then told me we were supposed to be at the dock of Toast-no one relayed that information to us. I called at 4:30 as no boat was there and was told they were running a bit late. We were told we would be picked up at the dock of where we were staying and our cruise was to be 4:30-9:30. The booze cruise was a fishing boat that just took us from bar to bar. We couldn't believe how much we packed into the day- it really was incredible! We ended up booking a fishing excursion with them another day as well.Ī bit disappointed. The guys returned us to our dock just before 4pm.
SO SO good! Mama also made fresh tortillas that we used to make fish tacos. Lunch was amazing!!! Fresh snapper ceviche with beans and slaw made by Mama that morning.
We then headed to Shark Ray alley and got in the water with some pretty big nurse sharks- that was an incredible experience!! While Shamir and Shaquille made us lunch, we explored Caye Caulker. The snorkeling was definitely the best I've ever seen! Not only did we see a lot but b/c some of the animals are used to people being around, they aren't just racing away from you. We were expecting a fishing day with a little bit of snorkeling thrown in and this wasn't that at all- it was much, much better! We did a little fishing, mainly to ensure we had enough to eat lunch.
I can not say enough good things about this company and excursion! We have traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean and this was probably our best excursion yet.
